RYAN THOMPSON
Chief of Staff
Ryan is responsible for the oversight of daily operations in the Washington, D.C. and Texas offices, which are located in Arlington and Ennis, TX. He works with the staff to ensure that the goals of the office are in line with those of the Sixth District. Ryan also coordinates the Congressman’s activities and priorities between the Energy and Commerce Committee, Congressional and Campaign offices.
Ryan has been with Congressman Barton since 2002. In addition to serving as Chief of Staff, Ryan has held several positions with Barton including Special Assistant, Political Director and Deputy Chief of Staff. Prior to his time with Barton, Ryan spent four years in the United States Marine Corps and graduated from Texas A&M University.
Ryan serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas State Society, and also organizes the annual Congressional Baseball Game for Charity as the President of the Congressional Sports Foundation, which he raises over $600,000 for three local charities in the Washington, DC area – The Washington Literacy Center, The Boys and Girls Clubs of Washington, DC, and the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation. In 2013, he was presented the Champion for Literacy Award for his work on behalf of The Literacy Center.

GABLE BRADY
Senior Legislative Assistant
As Senior Legislative Assistant, Gable is responsible for the healthcare, telecommunications, foreign affairs, education, and social security portfolios.
A constituent from the 6th district of Texas, Gable was born and raised in Waxahachie, Texas. She joined the Barton team in 2014 after graduating from the University of Notre Dame. During college, she worked in a variety political offices including the Office of President George W. Bush, the Houses of Parliament, and State Representative Jim Pitts’ district office.

Legislative Assistant
As Legislative Assistant, Nick is responsible for the energy, environment, intelligence, homeland security, immigration, and tax portfolios.
A constituent from the 6th district of Texas, Nick was raised in Arlington, Texas. He joined Congressman Barton in 2015 after graduating from Texas Tech University with Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Russian. In college, Nick interned with Congressman Barton, as well as with the U.S. Secret Service.
LEVI GIBSON
Legislative Aide/Correspondent
As Legislative Assistant, Levi is responsible for budget, financial services, labor, small business, and transportation and infrastructure issues.
As Legislative Correspondent, Levi assists Congressman Barton by responding to all constituent mail from the district. A native of Austin, Levi graduated from the University of Texas in May 2016 with a major in Government and minor in Spanish. In college, Levi worked for Texas State Representative John Raney in his Austin office.
CAROLINE WALLER
Press & Staff Assistant/Deputy Scheduler
As Staff Assistant, Caroline assists Congressman Barton by working directly with the constituents of the 6th District. She schedules DC visitors' tours, conducts Capitol tours, and oversees the general administration of the office. Caroline also is in charge of handling all press inquiries.
Caroline is from College Station, Texas, and is a graduate of Louisiana State University. She graduated with a degree in Public Relations, and a minor in Business.
