    Rep. Joe Barton (R-Ennis/ Arlington) released the following statement after the House passed H.R. 3662, the Iran Terror Finance Transparency Act. As a part of the Iran Nuclear Negotiations, President Obama agreed to provide certain individuals and organizations in Iran relief from sanctions. Some of these organizations could be connected with terrorist activities but this bill prohibits the president from providing relief for these groups until security concerns can be alleviated. Additionally, it allows greater Congressional oversight and approval. Read more
