Rep. Joe Barton wanted to know what you thought about the state of the United States so he asked subscribers to his E-newsletter: Taking everything into consideration, how would you describe the state of the nation since President Obama took office?

The Congressman released the results of the poll on Thursday:

  • 55% - Poor
  • 19% - Not So Good
  • 14% - Good
  • 12% - Excellent

Close to 1,200 people took part in the poll.
