(Click video for floor speech) Rep. Barton offered this amendment along with Reps. Conaway, Cuellar, McCaul and Flores to H.R. 8, the North American Energy Security and Infrastructure Act. This amendment is similar in nature to H.R. 702, which passed the House on October 9, 2015 by a vote of 261-159. Ending the ban on crude exports is Rep. Barton’s primary goal, through whatever legislative vehicle that may be. |
